How Long Will Our Sanding Service Take?

Our calculations are extremely accurate since they are based on extensive experience and technological knowledge. How long the floor restoration process takes depends on many factors, like the current condition of your floor, what you have in mind for it etc.

We realise you want us to finish as quickly as possible and to minimise the disruption of your daily routine, we will always endeavour to complete the whole wood floor sanding project as quickly as possible, without putting the quality of the work at risk.

Typically, a fairly standard room of 20 sqm will take about one day to sand and varnish properly, using fast-drying water-based finishes plus another 12 hours for the varnish to cure properly. While you will be able to walk onto the newly sanded floors in a couple of hours after we have finished the floor restoration, moving your furniture back in place will be possible on the next day.

For areas up to 40 sqm, we offer two excellent options. If you prefer a classic finish, our varnish option will leave your pine parquet looking stunning. With this option, your pine parquet will have a rich and organic appearance, and the process takes approximately 3 days to complete.

Multi-room Pine Parquet Sanding & Sealing

If you have a pine parquet floor that spans over multiple rooms and covers an area of 30 sqm or less, we have a special solution that can save you time without compromising quality. Our skilled team can complete the sanding and sealing with varnish in just 1 and 1/2 days. You can trust us to deliver a seamless finish that enhances the overall aesthetic of your space.

Restoring Old, Uneven Floorboards

We understand the charm of old, uneven floorboards, and our team is experienced in bringing them back to life. For a floor area of 20 sqm, we offer sanding, gap filling, and sealing services. With our varnish option, we can transform your floor in just 1 day. Alternatively, if you opt for hard wax or oil treatment, the process will take 2 days, ensuring that your floor's natural beauty shines through.

Herringbone Parquet Installation

Herringbone parquet flooring adds elegance and sophistication to any space. Our professional team can expertly install 15 sqm of herringbone parquet in just 1 day. Please note that this time frame covers the installation process only and excludes subfloor preparation, skirting board trimming, and door frame trimming. Rest assured, we pay attention to every detail to achieve a flawless and visually stunning result.

Laminate Flooring Installation

When it comes to laminate flooring, efficiency is key. Our experienced team can handle the installation of 30 sqm of laminate in just 1 day. This timeframe includes meticulous preparation and insulation installation, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. You'll have a stylish and durable laminate floor that perfectly suits your needs.

Please note: The aforementioned figures are with a fair approach to accuracy and are based on 1 team working on premises that have been cleared from furniture and not on poorly conditioned floors, i.e. a minimum amount of repair work is required.
