I have some parquet flooring blocks which a friend of mine kindly offered, which would like to get fitted into a lounge and hallway - do you provide such a service? The blocks have black resin and the overall area is about 36 sqm. It's a concrete subfloor.

I have been offered a reclaimed parquet floor. The blocks are tongue a groove, but these blocks have a flat side where the tongue should be. Can these still be laid? or would you not advise me to buy these blocks? If they can be laid, what steps would you need to take to compensate for not having a tongue?

Can you put underfloor heating down with reclaimed parquet? Approx what is the cost of laying parquet blocks per sq metre?

I am looking for a floor fitter to fit our reclaimed (already purchased) oak parquet into our extension due for completion in 3 weeks.  The floor would need sanding and finishing and does have bitumen on the back of it.  I'm ideally looking for a herringbone pattern and currently have no preference as to whether it is a 1 or 2-block border.

The floor is a suspended wood flooring and the total area is 44.25m2 indicated in yellow on the attached plan. 

We would be looking for work to commence in a few weeks. 

At this stage, I would be ideally looking to get a rough estimate of cost before then organising a visit to the site if required.
