Good question. Although having a slightly different composition than other natural wood floorings, sanding bamboo flooring is possible, but staining bamboo flooring is not recommended. Bamboo flooring contains a large number of adhesives and is not completely natural products. Therefore stains have poor absorbance and if applied the colour may come lighter than expected and result in uneven application.
