What Should You Avoid Using on Engineered Hardwood Floors?

What products should you never use on engineered hardwood floors?

You should never use harsh or abrasive cleaners on engineered hardwood floors. Products that contain bleach, ammonia, or strong solvents can cause discoloration, dullness, or surface damage. Similarly, avoid using scouring pads, steam mops, or excessive water, as these can penetrate the finish and damage the core layers. Instead, stick to pH-neutral, wood-safe cleaners and use a damp (not wet) microfiber mop for regular maintenance.
