The owners of a mahogany parquet in poor condition got in touch with us. The location was Teddington, the task was to bring back the previous glory of this parquet. The project included sanding, filling any gaps and varnishing. The final result - flawless.

We are often asked how dark we can go when staining wooden floors. Truth is, Jacobean Oak is not the darkest colour we can do, but is definitely the most popular one. The floorboards on the ground floor of this house in Walthamstow, were stained, gap filled and sealed with durable satin lacquer.
The classical block pattern was designed to complement other traditional elements in this Paddington home, and the client selected Natural (less knotty) oak in medium size, and their preference for the finish was Osmo Polyx hardwax-oil and satin sheen.
