In recent years the vinyl flooring has become more popular, because of its extreme durability and easy maintenance. The following photos are from one of the projects we’ve completed recently. This type of flooring has its advantages over the laminate flooring and the traditional solid wood floors. The floating method of installation for the vinyl flooring makes it suitable for underfloor heating. Another benefit is that the surface is scratch resistant. The vinyl flooring from Quick-Step is also a good choice for kitchens and bathrooms, due to the splash resistance it has. The flooring we have installed was imitating the trendy oak flooring in grey-washed tones. 

Like in every other project the first step from our work was to prepare the subfloor – it has to be clean and levelled. We used the QuickStep Underlay designed for Livyn Flooring, which has great soundproofing properties, it also reduces the noises from walking across the floor. The fitting process went smoothly with no complications and it took us one day to finish the job.
