Sanding And Refinishing Of Outworn Pine Floorboards

There are many factors that can affect the real wood flooring and ruin its appearance. For example, the high moisture and humidity might lead even to the replacement of the whole flooring. Even with the durable and hardwearing finishes, that are available nowadays, the surface of the wood flooring is still vulnerable to external factors. The good thing about the surface imperfections is that they are easier to fix.

The common method for such tasks is the floor sanding services. As you probably already know it strips off the top layer from the old finish and leaves the surface smooth and level. The marks from the rough sanding are erased by a rotary machine during the buffing process with finer sandpaper grit. The last step is to seal it with a protective product. For our jobs, we usually use the water-based ‘Junckers HP Commercial’ and this project was no exception. The sheen preferred from our clients was satin. The restoration of the pine floorboards in the living room and in the kitchen was completed in 2 days.
