Oak Quick-Step Laminate Floor Laying

Laying a Quick-Step flooring is something our laminate fitters are familiar with, probably this is why the results are just flawless. Even not so complicated, the fitting process is hiding risks, and the good outcome requires attention and expertise. The initial step of every floor installation project is to inspect the subfloor, in our case under the carpet there was a concrete subfloor, which our clients choose to cover with 4 mm 4 mm rubber underlay with increased soundproofing incorporating DPM membrane (Duralay SilentFloor Gold). Another step from the preparation before the fitting is to trim the doors and their frames to adjust the height to the level of the new floor.

Once the preparation was complete our guys started to laying the planks, the 'Uniclic' system is making the whole process much faster.

As you can see from the images the Quick-Step laminates have a unique appearance, the advanced technology of manufacturing is making the planks look so realistic that it can be easily mistaken for real wood. The wide planks with this grey-washed tint have been one of the design trends for the past four years. In fact, they will probably remain popular this year as well.

Another good thing to know about the choice of our clients is that this laminate is laid on a small area of 12 sqm, and when the boards are wide, in a lighter shade, they make the whole room look more spacious. Since the size of the area was not so large, this project took one day to our fitters.
