Project Details
Engineered flooring has been a leading option on the flooring market for some time now. It possesses the astonishing look of real wood flooring, but does not have its biggest downside - the vulnerability to moisture. This type of flooring has a unique structure - multiple timber layers crossed below the surface, which is the main reason behind its moisture resistance. The pictures below are from one of our most recent projects completed in . The task in front of our team was to prepare the concrete subfloor for the installation.
The project took 2 days to complete, as we didn't have to use up any of our time to remove furniture from the premises. So when we arrived, we could straight up proceed with the process of leveling the concrete subfloor, which after the self-levelling compound dried up, could now be fit with a brand new Duralay Excel Silver! This is one of the products with outstanding qualities. The engineered flooring's joining system was tongue and groove, with a thickness of 14 mm (which the veneer is 3 mm of), and ainsce it was pre-finished with lacquer, there was no need to undergo the entire refinishing process on site.
