Floorboards Staining Samples

People really like to stain their floors. It is trendy, it is fashionable and there is plenty of choices but sometimes people just cannot decide what kind of stain they prefer. This is what happened now as well. We had a client who wanted to change the colour of his wood flooring. The issue was that he had no idea what stain would suit him best.

In such cases, we do a rough sanding to remove the old finish and stain small sections of the floor so the customer can see for himself how exactly the colours will look. Samples can sometimes mislead you and this is indeed the most reliable way to check if this is what you want.

The client finally settled for Jacobean brown and we proceeded to sand buff, stain and finish his floor. In the end, we applied penetrating oil finish which enhanced the natural appearance of the surface even more. This whole project took us two days to complete.
