Engineered Floor Sanding & Restoration

Using this project, we will summarize one of our latest jobs in the area of London. We were hired by a landlord to sand the floor after severe, but not irreparable floor damage. Some of it was caused by a really small and localized house fire, while most of the other implications came because of the amount of water that was used to handle the particular situation. Our team was well aware of the specifics that such a project is accompanied by, and thus they utilized an individualized approach towards the successful completion of the project. We were evenly matched to source and replace some of the burned planks with our own, due to our ample selection of engineered wood flooring in our warehouse.

After a visit by our surveyor a couple of days prior to the restoration project, the plan of action was already formulated in our team's heads. They headed there with utmost confidence that they would be able to handle the job, brought the appropriate planks for replacement with them, as well as the sanding equipment. After the damaged boards were replaced, we proceeded with a thorough sanding, as to make sure the area will not show any signs of the recent experience it had. The planks were 207 mm wide, and after the entire floor was sanded it was finished with Osmo's hardwax oil which the client has previously purchased from our store.
