Distressed Oak Hardwood Renovation in Satin Lacquer

What were the details?

Upon arrival we found a place which seemed to have undergone repairs recently. As a result, the otherwise fine hardwood flooring had become dirty and fallen into a state of neglect. However, as experts in our field of work we found that the oak only needed a small bit of help in order to shine again. We did our best to provide it.

What did we do to deal with the problem?

The floor may have been dirty and worn but this was only on the surface. Despite that, it was a fine piece of flooring which only had to undergo a cosmetic procedure. We carefully disposed of any dust, dirt or debris which could interfere with our work and used our equipment to strip the floor of its finish. After buffing and applying the excellent Junckers HP Commercial lacquer, the result from our efforts was obvious. It took us less than 3 days to completely restored.

What was the result?

After 4 coats of good hardwearing lacquer, the oak looked lovely. No stains, dirt, or scratching was deforming the pristine and perfectly smooth surface. Just check the pictures to see the fruits of our hard efforts!
