Floor Sanding Advices For Stain Application

You want beautiful and smooth wooden flooring, with a specially chosen deep and warm colour. The solution is: FLOOR STAINING. However, a gorgeous outcome could be achieved only by professional sanding company or experienced wood floor specialist. A poorly applied stain can destroy completely your floor, making it look patchy, uneven, cheaply-painted or even dirty. Here are some quick floor sanding advices you should take in mind before the stain application:

Floor sanding and stripping should be made in a careful and professional manner. At least 120 grid floor sanding paper should be used for the last floor sanding stage.
Floor buffing machine is also recommended for removing all floor sanding marks from the wood. Please note, all marks and imperfections on the wood flooring would be revealed and enhanced by the stain. It is obvious to understand why proper floor sanding is the first basic step for achieving brilliant final look.
After the floor sanding and buffing, the floor should be vacuumed very well. Do not wash down, use water or any other liquids to clean the sanded floor. Vacuuming should be sufficient.
Expect the sanded floor and if it is absolutely flee of dust and it has a smooth surface without noticeable marks from the floor sanding you are ready to start with the application of the stain.
