They provide a vast array of color options and mixing different colors means even wider variety for you to pick out from.

If properly done, stained pine floor boards and undistinguishable from authentic wood. For example, staining pine with an oak dye will make your floor look like real oak. Generally, staining is the fastest way of lending some color to your room and getting a floor that looks completely different quickly and at an affordable price. Stains do not penetrate wood deeply. Open grained woods like oak, walnut, pecan etc. take stains much more easily than beech, birch, maple etc., that take a lot longer to stain properly due to the close grained structure of the wood.
